local source for fresh compost tea?!

Hello everyone,
I wonder if you all know of any places in the Valley that sell freshly brewed compost tea?!  I would like to do a soil drench around a very large tree but do not have the capacity to make so much tea myself right now.  Thanks!  :)

Hi Rachel

I actually create soil inoculants for different plants from trees to vegetables.

If your tree which you did not mention the type Deciduous or Coneferous.

The first would be moderatley fungal and the second Conefers enjoy highly fungal.

What makes a compost tea more bacterial is when we start adding things like molasses. Bacteria loves simple sugars.

So we strive for a balanced compost tea recipe rather than one or the other as another factor would be your soil.

To Answer your first question I create the teas myself with continous brewer cycle. If it only takes 2 to 3 days to reach you then you would uncap the container right away.

Let sit in cool dry place and start using it. It will reactivate once it interacts with your soil. For best results keep cap off if you can or very loosely.

It will not keep past a month !. Compost teas are ment to be used right away.

The price is $12.00 dollars for 1 gal. That you can break down as I mentioned previously.

Plus shipping as a thought if I send you a 32 oz bottle it will fit in a flat rate box and you would use it much quicker. That price is 9.00 dollars plus shipping. Please vist my site for more information

Thank you BTW im not really sure I should be selling anything here. I just recently signed up.
