I am Navajo from Window Rock, AZ. and I've been a chef for about 6 years to date and I'm learning all that I can about new things. I have served in the USMC and I'm a graduate from the Art Institute of Phoenix and ASU-West campus. I love to volunteer, work w/ kids and share my thoughts about culinary arts w/ the world. Although, I am very limited in what I can offer, that is why I am eager to learn more and more.
I've been here a many winters and yet I'm still working to make ends meet. It is difficult to pursue a career that has seasons of great success and failures. Sure, everyone has to eat, but my product has to be good enough to buy! I'm finding that people's money is going into something that is going to benefit them and Native American food is not one of those items being selected on the menu.
