So It was storming and blowing and wrecking havoc in the neighborhood. So I was out in it and spied two huge aremenian cukes on the vine I am getting about three a week now. went out and inspected the watermelons. I am growing moon and stars. I picked a thirty pounder last week it was huge. Not quite as sweet as I expected I was impatient as usual and probably picked it too soon. I have counted 9 more in various stages of growth so I have made a pact with my self that when I decide they are ready wait another week. This is my first season growing melons and so far I am happy with the results. I finally got alot of bees so I know that is why I am finally getting so much fruit.

All heck broke loose out here on my 5 acre mini ranch. The wind was fierce and felt almost like a tornado. It ripped off the roofing on my house and on two outbuildings. I was busy putting buckets under major leaks. Then I checked my battery storage room (I only have solar energy for electric), and my battery room was blown to one side, batteries strewn all over the floor with some upside down and my inverters in a mess too. I tried to dislodge some of the tangles but major sparks flew up in all directions, so I stopped that real fast. My dogs were in a panic, all running around and looking at me. It was a wild ride last night!
