Hi Brian, I keep my worms outside in the summer but I have a large compost worm pile.This past summer I harvested a bunch and kept them in the house and that worked quite well. The key/challenge is keeping them moist with unrestricted air flow.

have you used this in the summer here in phx? Worms live?

 

I find that with mulch and time native worms and creepy crawlies are pretty prevalant here.

 

I like the idea of the worminator though.
