Planting Calendars - more than just Veggies out there!

I've been so busy lately with life that I haven't been posting here as often as I would like.  Today I thought I would just include a quick note for all of you out there wondering what you can plant and when here in the greater Phoenix area.  Our wonderful Extension Office has created not one but THREE different planting calendars for our area that include Vegetables, Herbs and Flowering and Bedding Plants.  Basically covering all the main smaller type plants you could want to include in your gardens.  Not this list doesn't include things like fruit trees or exotic experimental plants that some of us are trying, but it does cover the basics.  So here they are:

There is the Vegetable Planting Calendar AZ1005, which most of you are familiar with:
But there is also an Herb Planting Calendar that I have attached, since the link on the MG website was moved and they haven't fixed it yet (click this link: HerbPlantingCalendar.pdf)
They also have a wonderful Flower and Bedding Plant Guide for the Low Desert, that lists which flowers are edible and poisonous - very important information if you have anyone in the house that likes to eat flowers like I do!:
As a bonus I include a link to the 10 Steps to a Successful Vegetable Garden, publication AZ1435
Now there are a lot of different ways to have a successful garden not covered in that publication, but it's a great starting point if you are new here.
Happy Planting!

Shame on me. I could have sworn I thanked you when you first posted this.  I had never seen the herb calender before.

The Extension publishes a flowers guide (AZ1100), but for some reason they leave off the table (AZ1100a).  It is very similar to the table you published.  Certain info on one is not present on the other and vice versa.

Thank you so much for posting these links and working on updating the tables, etc for 2015-16.  Getting interested parties to sign off on it is a slow pain in the arse but if they give feedback it often helps prevent errors and omissions.  Hang in there.
