This fall, a friend and I will be venturing into the world of growing a gourmet garden here at the farm.

At the recommendation of a local Scottsdale Chef, I ordered some very French specialties such as Ficoide glaciale, aruguala roqueette sauvage, along with lettuce such as merveille des quatre saisons, goutte de sang and sucrine. Needless to say it was exciting to see the "Paris, France" post mark on the little white envelope.

We can barely wait for cooler weather to seed these in the Gucci section of our garden here at Cactus Road Farm.

That does sound like fun, and delicious! Those packages are, indeed, exquisite!

I feel inspired to grow a french gourmet garden too! I am exciting just seeing the photo of the beautiful packages the seeds arrive in. Maybe someday. If you have a tour of your garden, let me know!

yeah! btw...i did post on that peach tree and he responded back asking a few soil and root ball questions along with water schedule - of which i need to respond to him. his first inclination is a mineral deficiency - which sounds sweeter than x disease! i watered the apricot...has not at all perked up today...looks even more shriveled - bummer!
