my chicken is limping I thought she had bumblefoot so I have been cleaning, putting neosporin on and wrapping every 2 or 3 days she a little better but still limping leg is now smaller then the other. how do I put a splint on

A rigid splint will possibly do more damage than good.

It sounds silly but my uncle splinted his chickens leg with bubble wrap and tape.  This gave support but was flexible enough not to irritate.  He also had to be sure to use very durable tape so his hen couldn't peck it off.

Sorry I can't remember what kind of tape.
