I am in the process of turning a grapefruit tree into a "fruit basket" tree and I am looking for some lime tree cuttings. Please e-mail me at deedanowski@cox.net if you can help out. I have graphed one side of me tree with lemons, oranges, and tangerines so far. I know I am a week or two late...but I would like to get some lime buds graphed before it gets too hot. I'll keep you posted on progress.

These oranges are preety sour. Skin is not as rough as the other sour oranges I've seen-but I figure even if it's not a Seville orange, the roots and tree look pretty strong and healthy. I've heard about using the fruit for marmalades and marinades

Found some of what I think are sour orange trees (very healthy at least) and I have the seeds starting in peat pots! Thanks for the pointers :)

Chr is, Why do you have to graft to a sour Orange. My Grandfather had a wonderfull Sweet orange tree that had lemon grafted to it.

Are Sour Orange trees still fruiting right now? And does anyone have one that I can snag a fruit from to try starting the seeds?

Would you post directions on how to do one of these trees? Or maybe a link? My husband would like to do one-and we are goingto be buying our first trees this fall/winter.

They are only off trees from friends so not sure of the vairites. Would love meyers lemons - or key limes...but a begger cannot be choosey. Do you have lime cuttings - or know someone that does?
