We returned from our annual vacation to Sedona/Jerome area to find Jalepenos finally coming in! I also came home to a mailer packet full of seeds. Several kinds of Peppers, Tomatillos, melons, and more. Some to plant now, some for later in the year, and various types of lettuce specifically for the indoor Aquaponics system I plant to work on this summer.

Today I am picking up a hammock, a hammock chair, a broken lawn chair (which I'll fix) and preparing some seedlings to take over to This is HOW's Regina House. Two sunflower seedlings sprouted today, so I took them out into the yard since they tend to really like the heat. They look so tiny out there! I am thinking of taking them to a local nonprofit I'm volunteering with. We're starting stage one of their garden transformation by setting up some private sitting areas in the yard so that residents can have a moment to themselves now and then. So I live with 2 coffee addicts while I myself am a recovered addict. I used to drink multiple a day, but these days I don't drink coffee at all, and only treat myself to the rare caffeinated tea. Unfortunatley when our coffee mate broke they replaced it with a single serving gadget. It came with a little reusable cup that you can put the coffee grounds into and reuse time and again, but they prefer the pre packaged coffee grounds in tiny plastic cups.
