Cucumbers not ripening?

I planted cucumber plants in early May, they grew great and by the end of June I had at least 12 good cucumbers at least 10 inches long - but YELLOW. They are all still yellow, I tried picking one but it is bitter. Any suggestions on how to get them to ripen?

TWO- Food system blue prints

Step three- Build and experiment
