From the Wife of a Worm Farmer - Foggy Brain Days

If you have read even one of my blog posts, you know how much I adore my Worm Farmer.  Everything he does is wonderful.  I am so proud of his Worm Grotto.  I love it when he brings me a cucumber, or a tomato, or a bunch of grapes.  I really, honestly love this life-long project he’s got himself and our family involved in – it has changed our lives. 

But I didn’t know we had corn growing.  How could I NOT…

Falling in Love With My Garden

The garden and I have come to an understanding.  I pay close attention and it will feed me.  A little.

Keeping the kitty OUT of the beds was my first feat.  Laying garden fencing panels over the beds has proven to be very beneficial!  Tacky but beneficial.  Not only is the kitty defeated but the vines love being above the cool damp…

Seed heads

Winter and spring crops are going to seed.  Broccoli, quinoa, arugula, and chard seeds have been harvested and are drying, but romaine lettuce, parsley and orach seeds are still maturing.
