All tomato plants are going great: Big Boy, Early Girl, Marglobe, Red Plum & Cherry, Yellow Plum & Cherry, Black Prince...

all EXCEPT the Mr. Stripey's - there isn't a single blossom on the whole plant! Does anyone have any idea why that would be?

Well, the chickens are happy and laying! Yeah! We've waited so long for them and I was a little nervous, but so far so good.

Tomatoes are going well - some great, some good, 1 huge plant not blooming at all (hmm). Carrots are humongo; pulled up all the cilantro today and shook off seeds back into garden. Potatoes are about 1' high. Found a squash plant volunteer hidden near the…

Harvested my first fennel today! Was nice a big and fat. I saved all the leaves for cooking and tea and saved the stalks for chewing, for now. Will need to find some recipes. All tomatoes all growing very well, most of which are heirlooms. Been eating some of the red cherry and have tomatoes growing on most all the other plants. Can't wait for those Mr. Stripeys! You've been wonderfully busy. Can't wait to hear how others are using their fennel. I've got those Mr. Stripeys growing too and pulled up old sugar snaps yesterday.
