Ants have gone hell for leather on all of my Aubergine Plants, tried the below and does not seem to work.
Any suggestions or tips fellow gardeners.
1. Diluted Vinegar sprayed
2. Diatomaceous earth
3. Pepper Spray
I have heard, but never tried, Cream of Wheat on their nest or around infestations. Apparently (and this is fairly graphic) when an ant eats the cream of wheat, it expands in the stomach and basically explodes the ant's insides. What a way to go!
There are several natural ways to get rid of ants both inside and out on this page: http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Rid-of-Ants-Naturally
What exactly are the ants doing to your eggplant?
Seems like they sucking the moisture out of it and plants drop leaves and look like they are on their last legs.
