Well, I guess the ducks are out of season for eggs. The cold weather has stopped laying, at least for now. We still love them anyway. After the compost class last week, we found out they love the grubs in the compost bin.
They eat them out of your hand. Now anytime we go close to the bin, they come running and looking for a handout.

WE have been getting 2 eggs almost everyday for the past week now. They taste great. We hope they continue to lay, I heard they may go "out of season" in the Winter. We will wait and see.

Right now all I have is ducklings. They will be grey and white or black and white. It will be about a year before I have eggs to trade. You have a bit of a jump on me, since you got adults. I posted pictures in the photo section.

we would love to see the duckling if that is possible ...
We have one white male and a white female
the others 2 are grey/white female and a tan/white male
the female carry the color for then line

By the way, your ducks are from a completely different color bloodline than mine, so it would be a good idea to mix them. Great genetic diversity.

one female is laying about every 30 hrs. The other is a little younger and not laying as of yet, hopefully soon. We have been told they may stop laying or slow down for the winter.

That would be great to trade eggs we were thinking of letting a couple hatch this spring
If you know of anyone that wants a male we have a very dominate one (he loves to herd the females). The other one gets bossed around quite a bit we will be willing to either trade for another female too

I've got Muscovies now, also! Once mine grow up, perhaps we could trade fertilized eggs.
