Monsoon planting

monsoon season is a good time for planting. try devil's claw, gourds, sorghum, basil, panic grass, corn, squash, beans and chiles. my I'itoi shallots are re-sprouting from their dormant stage too. rain is nice.See More

Phoenix Food Not Bombs could use some help.

The Phoenix chapter of Food Not Bombs could use help every and any Sunday. We take food that would otherwise be thrown out buy local grocery stores and redistribute it. We cook a vegan meal starting around 10 in Central Phoenix and serve around 3pm at Margret T Hance Park just south of the main entrance to Burton Barr Central Library.
