Himalayan ^ English Spot Rabbits available

For anyone who's thought about having a rabbit for a pet, I have 5 show quality Himalayans and one English Spot available.  Himis are extremely laid back rabbits and an ideal rabbit for kids.  These rabbits would all be suitable for 4H/FFA homes (or Open Youth).  The himis are either black, chocolate or lilac.   They're a unique breed and are the only cylindrical rabbit type.  They are pure white with colored ears, nose, tail and feet with pink eyes and should not weigh over 4 1/2 pounds.  $30…See More

"Regularly breed father/daughter or mother/son.  Brother/Sister usually gives you the best or the worse. It also depends on the genetics involved.  Grandfather/Granddaughter, or Grandmother/Grandson works well too."

Meat Rabbits

If anyone's looking for breeding stock, I'm butchering rabbits this weekend.  Last chance for a while from us anyways to get some rabbits that will be ready to start breeding in 4 months for breeding.  Anyone interested in fresh rabbit, we're offering rabbits at $15 a head and will butcher them out for you.

Part 3 of the Rabbit barn progress

Been "slackin" again on getting some stuff done in the barn, well more or less just making adjustments to things i didn't like or wanted to change to make it "just so".  All the rabbits are finally in the barn with cages to spare for now until all these rug rats need to be separated out.

So I figured I'd post some new photos of the 99% complete barn and a few of the litters and does.  Bad photos, but they were from the camera phone.

This is the south side of…

Rabbit Barn part 2

After a few good days (ok, prob weeks actually) of taking some time off from the barn, we've got 95% of the south side finished!  Just need to install the water line (can do that later since we do have bottles for the time being), put end caps on the drop boards, install the down spout and cut the drop boards to the correct angle on the bottom row and we'll be ready to go, though we are going to swap out the top row of 4 cages for a row of 5 cages to maximize our area and we'll be off to…

Rabbit Barn...

April 4th.  That's today :)  We began getting the barn ready in February or March.... long enough ago that I don't even remember when it was!  After having the ideal set up at our old house in Paradise Valley and now off the rabbit wagon again, I (we) were faced with a little bigger issue of where to put the little darlings (yes.. on 2+ acres, I was having problems on where to put rabbits believe it or not).  So, we decided, it was time to turn our breeding lab (we stand and ship semen on…

That is funny, I looked at it earlier and could not find pictures. But Just now I found a picture. Are you  updating today?

I will check with my husband to see if we can come on Sunday and let you know.

Thank you Julie.

I love the rabbits and would actually like to learn even more about how to care for them properly. I would love to come and see your set up some time.
