what kind of fruit trees grow best in Yarnell, AZ?

I am shopping for a property in Yarnell this weekend, will be looking at the landscapes of neighbors. Anyone have any familiarity with what type of fruit trees grow well there?

"I had bought a smaller one from Moon Valley, a little over $100. It got weird eruptions in the bark that oozed sap. I couldn't find out what was wrong with it, yanked it out. That made me feel guilty, to kill a tree. I waited a few months,…"

"We got our coop from that guy in Mesa. I think he builds them specifically to go right into the back of most trucks. It's really nice. I can't believe someone would steal the whole darn thing. Kind of hope they got a little hernia from it."

thank you, chicken people

We made it past the first year mark. My cholesterol level is quite high now. We eat eggs in many different ways. The girls are fine, very healthy. Thank you to all of the chicken people who were so kind in answering all of the very silly questions, offering advice, providing support. It has just been so fun to have the chickens. My gardens are better, our food is better, the world is in balance. Lots of smiles.  :) Couldn't have done it without you. Wish I could have goats...See More

"She's Leghorn-ish, but the comb is much too small for a Leghorn and she's too plump. Her personality doesn't sound like a Leghorn, either - they're usually a bit skittish. I'll cast my vote in with Becky. :)"

I think we'll be going back to the Holdemans' house next year.  Paul has an amazing amount of knowledge to share and what a beautiful space they've created!
