Profile Information

About Me:
Arizonan since 2002, previously from Florida. We (hubby, son, 3 cats, and toothless chiweenie) bought a house in central Phx in 2011 with a fifth of an acre...planning to start a little urban farm. We have lots of work to do, but it is our home, so well worth it.

I have worked in environmental advocacy/education (Arizona Wilderness Coalition community organizer, Desert Botanical Garden guide, SRP residential energy auditor, Cartridges for Kids recycling program coordinator, etc.) and also as a youth teacher/tutor/mentor (@ASU, middle/high schools, private instruction). I am currently a stay-at-home mom and plan to unschool our son.

I love art, sewing/quilting, languages, reading, camping, traveling, hiking, and cutting my own hair :)

Hi Danica :) I don't have any worms. I had some in a worm bin, but I don't have a worm bin or red worms anymore.

Hi Danica,
Thanks--my husband took the photo, he really finds interesting nature shots. Yes, I'm familiar with Bookchin! How cool that you studied with him. I'm looking forward to know folks in the guild, and especially turning our side yard into a permaculture/solar respite.
