"I think you misunderstood, or I wasn't clear.  The goats don't have access to the peach trees.  After the tree died, and it was removed, we gave it to them.  And peach trees are not toxic to goats.  :)"

Help me identify the pest harming my peach trees! Please. :)

Hi all,Last year my red baron peach tree died and we lost a main scaffold branch on my desert gold peach tree.  This year, I've noticed some new insect damage on other trees.  I'd like to get this problem sorted out before we have any other losses.  After I let the goats go to town on cleaning the the bark off of the red baron, I saw some obvious damage in the wood from something munching on it.  Borers?  I can post some pictures of the various damage spots on the trees...but wanted to throw…See More

We can broaden our order to include meat chicken orders and any other types of feeds, to help us get ore volume.

Hello Bethany!

I have a feeling I could learn a lot from you.  How many chickens do you have if you go through 100lbs of feed per month?

Thank you, Bethany! We think Michaela is pretty special as well. She really likes the things Grandma grows in the garden. Where can one get your Silver Creek Poultry products?

I am glad they are okay and they should multiply and give you some good fertilizer soon. Kids do like them, I think worms have a lot of personality. They make a great class project if you have a teacher willing to have them in the classroom. The book "Diary of a Worm" is a cute book if you haven't discovered it yet. I find the library has most every book I hear about and want to read. Good luck with the worms and your health. I just saw a terrific program on Vitamin D and how essential it is for adults and kids, the info is at vitamindhealth.org. The Dr. who did the program had spent years of research on this and it was a big one for treating cancer and the disturbing thing is that most people and animals are deficient in it. Go see Food Inc. we went to the preview last night and it is an important movie. Chris
